Can we talk about fashion for a moment?
Because I have a confession to make. The whole dressing myself thing kinda makes me crazy. Somehow I never feel like I have that polished, fashionable look. If there's anything I pride myself on...well, fashion isn't one of them.
I mean really all I want is for someone to go shopping with me, pick out fabulous items at a good price, make it all fit in my closet like butta, and then pick out my ensembles in the morning...down to the very last bracelet.
Is that asking too much?
I do, however, read some fashion blogs like Cupcakes and Cashmere, The Life Styled, Court and Hudson, Keiko Lynn and J's Everyday Fashion, to name a few. And I try to emulate something pretty. So as I'm working out my spring/summer wardrobe, here are a few things that I'm loving!
Skinny belts with detailing. My belt collection is severely lacking and I adore the little nailheads on this version that just give it a little bit of punk chic. I can't wait to pair it with the neon skirt!
Colored jeans. Love every moment of these. I own a pair of fushia (from F21) but really need to expand this collection and am so digging the cobalt color. So cute and fun.
Rocking' sandals. Like the wildly-expensive-but-so-worth-it Miz Mooz I picked up this weekend. I think they just make everything better, don't you?
Cute clutches. I adore my Hobo clutch in basic black but I also want to find a bold color for brightening up my darker outfits.
Cute, fitted jackets. I love an oversized blazer but I really adore a fitted jacket with the sleeves scrunched up. Always chic and pretty.
So that's what I'm loving so far for spring and summer. I could go on and on but these are the pieces that I'm focusing on building!
