The weather this week has been fairly miserable and it has me longing for warmer, sun-drenched days of a few weeks ago. When the weather turns, we can't wait to get outside, and I've never felt that more than since Penelope became a toddler. A few weeks ago, my long time best friend, Jen, was in town for the weekend with her sister and staying with a friend, so Penelope and I met them for brunch at Sarabeth's. The weather was way too glorious to call it a day from there, so we all wandered over to Madison Square Park for some fun. In honor of those amazing spring days, I thought I'd share some of the photos here. Also NYC in the spring is just so wonderful. I'm so glad we got to enjoy the park and thanks to Jen, Nicole and Jenny for hanging with us!
The Madison Square neighborhood is just too amazing.
Truly gorgeous flowers and trees in bloom. I could've sat outside all day long.
It wouldn't be a spring day in NYC without the ice cream truck.
New York, I could just never quit you.
